'Anti-Academic Freedom' Criticism | Texas: The Issue Is

In the latest session of the Texas Legislature, majority Republicans did far more than rein in the state's public universities. They've essentially grabbed higher education leadership by the scruff of the neck with oversight on curriculum and an outright ban on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies. Houston State Sen. Paul Bettencourt was at the tip of that legislative spear and says the anti-woke reformation will pay dividends in the long run.
