Small plane crash leaves 2 dead near Hicks Airfield

The crash happened in the 12700 block of N. Saginaw Blvd., near Avondale around 1:30 p.m. Multiple semi-trucks were on fire at the time of the crash, but it is not known how many. Small grass fires sparked from the crash, but officials were able to contain them quickly. Fort Worth Fire Department says two victims were found deceased.
