FBI investigating Trump assassination attempt

The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security said he has full confidence in the leadership of the Secret Service. But he conceded the gunman who tried to kill former President Donald Trump should never have reached the position where he was able to fire. President Joe Biden has ordered an independent investigation of the attempted assassination.
