Shohei Ohtani: Translator stole from me to pay debts
Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani denied that he ever bet on baseball or any other sports. Ohtani's translator, Ippei Mizuhara, is accused of running up massive gambling debts paid for by the Los Angeles Dodgers star. Representatives for Ohtani say they "discovered that Shohei has been the victim of a massive theft and we are turning the matter over to the authorities." On Monday, Ohtani said Mizuhara stole from him and told lies.
