Lawyer says Paxton never paid him for Nate Paul work

The latest witness to testify in the Texas attorney general's impeachment trial says he helped carry out the investigation at the center of the accusations against the AG. Brandon Cammack said Ken Paxton fired him weeks later and refused to pay the $14K invoice he submitted for the work he did to investigate a wealthy donor's complaints.
