DALLAS - A woman who was robbed early Friday morning quickly got help from Dallas police officers.
They were nearby investigating a separate robbery and shooting at the Super 7 Inn in the Red Bird area.
Police said the woman ran to officers for help and said an armed man had just robbed her. They found the suspect just around the corner and took him into custody.
In the first robbery, police investigated but have not yet made any arrests. A man was shot in the foot in that case.
Police do not believe the cases are related.
The woman was not hurt.
