Police chase bulldozer for nearly four miles, crushes police car
KANKAKEE, Ill. (WOFL FOX 35) - A bulldozer was found wild in the streets of Kankakee, Illinois back in August.
Footage from police officers show an out of control bulldozer backing over a squad car and completely crushing it, as an officer runs out of the way just in time.
Police say that 18-year-old Austin White had stolen the bulldozer around three in the morning and began driving it around the streets.
Police followed bulldozer for nearly a dozen blocks -- about four miles-- before officers were able to pull White out of the driver's seat to arrest him.
He has been charged with at least six felony counts, including attempted murder and driving under the influence.
