DALLAS - A man was seriously hurt when someone broke into his south Dallas home and shot him early Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened around 4 a.m. in the 4500 block of Spring Garden Avenue. A woman inside the house said she woke up after hearing gunfire.
The woman found the victim, a man in his 30s, with a gunshot wound in his abdomen. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Police aren’t yet sure about a motive. They do not believe the couple knew the attacker.
The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. He took off on foot after the shooting, police said.
