Man injured after house fire in Oak Lawn

A fire ripped through a Dallas home injuring an elderly man Friday night.

The fire started around 10 p.m. at a home in the Oak Lawn area, near Fitzhugh Avenue and Lakeside Drive.

Firefighters pulled the man from the home and he was taken to the hospital.

No word on his condition or a cause of the fire.
