Man arrested after 7 hour standoff in North Dallas

Dallas police arrest a man after a seven hour long standoff involving SWAT.

Neighbors said the man was upset about his father being taken to the hospital on Saturday.

Police said he started shooting at the ground of a north Dallas home on Pagewood Drive.

The SWAT team showed up and negotiated with him for seven hours before he surrendered.

He's charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

No one was injured.
