A Hood County man is accused of shooting his wife dead in their home late Thursday.
George Dooley, 51, is charged with murder in the death of wife Lavera Dooley, 65.
Hood County Sheriff's officials were called about 10 p.m. on Thursday to a Granbury home in the 6600 block of Colonial Drive.
The two were reportedly got into an argument that ended with Lavera Dooley being shot dead.
George Dooley remains jailed in Hood County with a $500,000 bond.
