Fort Worth PD: Homeowner kills burglary suspect
Fort Worth police say a homeowner shot and killed a suspect who tried to burglarize his home.
The shooting happened Tuesday night on Camp Bowie near I-30 in West Fort Worth.
Investigators say the suspect kicked in the front door and stabbed the homeowner. The homeowner then pulled a gun and shot the intruder in the stomach and arm, killing him.
The suspect has not been identified.
Police say the homeowner is not facing any charges.
