Polk County detectives need help finding two women who stole baby formula from a Frostproof store.

Detectives said on July 27, the suspects entered a Save-A-Lot store. Surveillance video showed them beginning to conceal 12.4-ounce cans of Enfamil Gentlease in their bags and clothes. They exited the store with 11 contained, and drove away in a dark-colored car. Officials are unsure of the make and model, but say it was a four-door vehicle.

The surveillance video was posted on the Polk County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, writing, “That’s taking the whole ‘save a lot’ thing too literal.”

Both are described as black females. The driver is about 20-30 years old, while the passenger is described as someone with a lighter complexion with red hair and glasses.

Anyone who can help identify them is asked to call Detective Goodlet at 863-292-3393. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-8477.
