FBI investigating 'white powder' letter sent to First Baptist Dallas

The FBI is trying to hunt down whoever sent a letter to First Baptist Dallas with white powder inside.

Police and Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the church around 1 p.m. Friday. They say an employee opened the envelope in a private area.

Medics checked out the employee while Hazmat teams tested the substance. They found the powder was non-toxic. The employee is fine.

First Baptist Dallas is led by Pastor Robert Jeffress, who is a spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump.
