Domestic violence stabbing ends with 1 dead

ARLINGTON, Texas - A woman is dead in a case of domestic violence in South Arlington.

Police said a man stabbed his adult son and then his wife near a store on Cooper Street, south of Interstate 20, Monday night.

When officers arrived the man was stabbing himself. He and his son survived. His wife, a woman in her 40s, died in the parking lot.

Arlington police said they believe the stabbing started as a family dispute but investigators are still working on the motive.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
