Dallas SWAT team arrests armed suspect, ending standoff
Dallas - An hours long standoff ended with the arrest of an armed suspect, Sunday evening. The Dallas SWAT team was called in to negotiate with the barricaded man at the Suncrest Apartments on Peterson Ln. in North Dallas.
Police say they were called around 5 p.m. after the man fired five shots into another apartment. Emergency responders evacuated the building. Firefighters also helped several people, including two children, out of a second story apartment window.
No one was injured.
