ARLINGTON, Texas - A bleeding man ran from an Arlington apartment complex after being shot, eventually flagging down firefighters for help Wednesday evening.
What we know:
Officers responded to a 911 call around 6:30 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Cedar Point Drive.
A caller told police that an unknown man, who was bleeding, ran up to her and said he had been shot before continuing to run from the area.
Officers arrived but soon learned the man had approached a group of firefighters about 0.4 miles away at the intersection of Sherry Street and Pioneer Parkway.
First responders took him to a local hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Investigation
Police attempted to interview the man at the hospital, but he was uncooperative and refused to provide details about the shooting.
