DUNCANVILLE, Texas - Police in the southern Dallas County suburb of Duncanville have arrested a wanted sex offender.
Roderick Goodson had two outstanding felony arrest warrants and another for violating parole after being convicted for sexually assaulting two teenage girls.
Police said he violated his parole by going into a girls’ locker room at South Oak Cliff High School after a game. Then he showed up at another school without notifying the front office.
Goodson also failed to register as a sex offender, police said.
He was taken into custody Wednesday morning in the 700 block of Wood Lane in Duncanville.
Detectives had been watching several possible locations where they thought he may be hiding. They spotted him getting into his vehicle around 10 a.m. and pulled him over in a traffic stop.
Goodson is currently being held in the Dallas County jail.
