A wintry mix is possible across parts of North Texas early Wednesday.
Areas of light rain, potentially mixed with light sleet at times, are expected to develop late Tuesday night into Wednesday across southwestern parts of North Texas and much of Central Texas.
The most probable location for sleet to mix with the rain overnight is south of Interstate 20 and west of Interstate 35.
No accumulations of sleet are expected on roads due to above freezing surface temperatures. Any light accumulations on Wednesday would likely be on grassy surfaces.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the 40s for the southwest parts of North Texas throughout the day Wednesday.
