A weak front stalls to our northwest tonight, keeping the threat for a few strong to severe storms in place for areas north and west of DFW. The front lifts northward Sunday, allowing a strong southerly breeze and clearing skies. Heading into next week, the weather pattern remains quite unsettled. Several disturbances return the threats of flooding and severe storms.
One More Rain-Free Day!
Memorial Day will be the last of our rain-free days likely for a while. The ridge of high pressure that has kept North Texas quiet, shifts southward, allowing a late-season cold front to move through mid-week.
