Dallas shooting: 1 killed, 2 injured at east Oak Cliff apartment complex

Shots fired near Dallas apartment

There is a large police presence at an apartment complex on Easter Avenue and Kiest Boulevard and reports of shots being fired nearby.

One person was killed, and two others were injured in a shooting at an apartment complex in east Oak Cliff.

Dallas police were called to the complex on Easter Avenue, near Kiest Boulevard, at about 8:40 p.m. Saturday night.

20-year-old Mavion Goldman was found shot inside of a vehicle at the apartment complex. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

Police found a 14-year-old in a nearby apartment had also been shot and was taken to the hospital.

A 17-year-old with a gunshot wound later arrived at a hospital in a private vehicle.

FOX 4 crews on the scene saw investigators surrounding a car and a toppled dumpster.

Investigators say Goldman was shot by an unknown suspect while he was in the vehicle, the 14-year-old was hit while inside a home and the 17-year-old was shot while outside.

DPD says they are continuing to investigate and are working to identify the suspect.
