Jennifer S. Gates beats out Laura Miller for Dallas City Council District 13
DALLAS - Incumbent Jennifer Staubach Gates beat out former Dallas Mayor Laura Miller for Dallas City Council District 13.
This is the first time Gates has had an opponent since she was elected six years ago.
A development dispute in Preston Hollow drove high turnout in this North Dallas district.
Gates received 66 percent of the vote, with Miller getting the remaining 34 percent.
