Baby among those critically injured in Fort Worth rollover crash

Three people including an infant were hurt in a rollover crash on Loop 820 in Fort Worth overnight.

Fort Worth police said the crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound lanes of the Loop 820 near Wilkes Drive.

The driver of an SUV lost control on the service road causing the vehicle to roll over, and passengers were ejected.

There were two adults and a baby in the SUV at the time. 

The two adults were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The baby was also rushed to Cook Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

Alan Tienda had bleeding to his brain and other injuries. His wife had a broken pelvis, shoulder and head injuries.

Police are still trying to determine what caused the driver to lose control.

The driver told investigators they do not remember what happened.

Police say there was no signs of intoxication for the driver.

Fort Worth police said there was a carseat in the car, but at this time they don't believe the child was properly secured in the seat.

The crash is under investigation.
