Last Warm Day, then we Plunge!

"The Winds of Change" are upon us. Got your sweater ready?

You don't need it today! One more very warm day in the 80s, although with less sun and more WIND! South winds will blow in some low clouds (SE this AM...with increasing high clouds during the afternoon.

As the cold front approaches overnight, a fast moving line of gusty showers and storms will develop (3am-9am) and push through. Highest coverage will still be areas from I-35 and east. Once they move through, skies will clear and gusty NW winds will keep temps holding in the mid 60s all day.

Colder air arrives at night. Lows saturday AM near 40 BUT with a breeze. That's chilly! Sunshine and diminishing wind will allow us to rebound just above 60 before temps PLUNGE at night.

Sunday AM will be coldest with most of NTX in the 30s, and areas away from the cities potentially experiencing the first FROST of the season. We'll then rebound into the mid 60s with south winds picking up.

Monday-Tuesday are both very mild into the 70s. Clouds move in Tuesday with gusty winds and a few showers...before a weak cold front moves out. By Wednesday and Thanksgiving, it looks very tranquil with highs close to 70 each day.
