September Showers continue, but we are getting ready for HOT-TOBER to return!

Today is the last "decent" chance to see some rainfall. There will be showers this morning, and even though metro coverage is 30-40%, some could produce a few good downpours. Coverage gradually shifts south and west by the afternoon as drier air filters in from the northeast, so coverage will be lower (20%) Metro. Highs range from the upper 80s east to the mid 70s west.

Friday still has a LOT of clouds, although they will thin in the afternoon allowing temps back into the low 80s. Rain chances are low (20%) Metro but will again be higher west.

By the weekend, a ridge of high pressure noses in...with partly sunny skies. temps will be above normal in the mid 80s Saturday and upper 80s Sunday.

By next week (October) High pressure starts to take over aloft. At the surface, most SE winds will pull in low clouds each morning, and give us warm to slightly HOT humid afternoons. Looks to be near 90 every day...and could go into the low 90s by later in the week.
