Water main break causes eerie fog in South Dallas

DALLAS - A Dallas street was closed overnight because of a water main break.

The break happened around 4:30 a.m. Thursday on Lagow Street between York and Elsie Faye Heggins streets in South Dallas.

Cold weather created a fog on the street as the water bubbled up out of the ground. And there was some concern that it would turn into ice since temperatures were below freezing.

Dallas Water Utilities responded and workers were able to fix the problem before it caused too much trouble.
