Truck falls off North Richland Hills bridge

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas - A driver is in critical condition after part of his tractor-trailer went over a guardrail in North Richland Hills.

It happened late Sunday night. The truck was exiting the TEXpress and crashed through a concrete barrier at the end of a ramp. His cab landed on northeast Loop 820 but his trailer stayed on Iron Horse Boulevard.

First responders had to cut the driver out of his wrecked cab. He was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition.

The truck was loaded with crates of mayonnaise but there was no spill.
