TCU reports confirmed case of mumps

FORT WORTH, Texas - The Texas Christian University campus has a confirmed case of mumps.

The university sent a letter to students and family saying it is currently working with the Tarrant County Health Department to determine if any other students may have been exposed to the highly contagious disease.

TCU emphasized there is a high vaccination rate on campus so the risk of an outbreak is low.

There have been no other reports of exposure thus far.
