Suspected Fort Worth ATM thief arrested in Dallas

Dallas police arrested a man suspected in an ATM smash and grab in Fort Worth.

The ATM theft happened around 5 a.m. in east Fort Worth.

About an hour later police in Dallas spotted a white truck that matched the description of the one used in the crime.

Officers followed and the driver abandoned the truck near the Highway 175 and 310 interchange.

He was captured and taken into custody.

The ATM was found in the bed of the truck.
