Sub-freezing temperatures continue as the work week begins

The Sleet and freezing rain is finished, skies have cleared, roads are dry and temperatures are above freezing. There should be no major issues for the Sunday night into Monday morning commute but it will be cold.

Lows will drop into the mid and upper 20s around the metroplex. It will also stay cooler than normal through the afternoon. There will be some peeks of sunshine and highs in the low 50s. Things should continue warming through the rest of the work week with clouds in the forecast each day and small rain chances Tuesday through Thursday. A cold front brings a better shot for rain and more cooler air by next weekend.
