Police in Fort Worth are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy.

The child was found dead at the Carlyle Crossing Apartments located at 6300 Vega Dr.

Officers were called to the scene just before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday to assist paramedics with a child who fell and was possibly deceased.

The 2-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. No further details have been released by police at this time.

The boy's family has identified him as Kaison Izaiyah Jackson Tuzolan.

His great grandparents, Sally and Michael King, say he was a sweet, quiet boy who never did anything to upset anyone.

“He’s really just a baby. I don’t get a chance to enjoy his life. I can’t watch him grow up or reach his full potential. I’m just going to miss him. He was very dear to my heart," Sally King said.

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is also investigating after getting a report on the child’s death. CPS added they have no prior contact with the boy's family.
