Pedestrian killed on Highway 175
A pedestrian was killed late Christmas Eve night on Highway 175.
Someone was trying to cross the C.F. Hawn Freeway Saturday night around 11:30.
The victim was hit by an SUV that was traveling eastbound, near Elam Road, according to Dallas County Sheriff's Deputies.
The driver stayed at the scene and is not expected to face any charges.
