Haltom City resident wins $2.6 million on scratch-off lotto game

A North Texas man is almost $2 million richer after buying a scratch-off from a Fort Worth store.

Texas Lottery officials say the man from Haltom City wished to remain anonymous. He bought a $5 Set for Life scratch-off game and claimed a $2.6 million prize.

There’s more than one winner here. For selling a winning ticket, the 4 Star Quick Pantry in Fort Worth is eligible for a $10,000 bonus.

Overall odds of winning any prize in the $5 Set For Life scratch-off game is one in 3.80.
