Dallas police investigating electric scooter crash

DALLAS - A man is in the hospital after he crashed the electric scooter he was riding into a vehicle early Sunday morning.

It happened just after 2:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Commerce Street.

Dallas police said the scooter rider was going the wrong way when he crashed into an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle is not hurt, and stayed on scene to talk with police.

No charges have been filed at this time.

The rider was transported to Baylor hospital.
