Investigators have a vague description of the man they say stole a car in Forney with two young children still inside.
The kids were found safe, about 10 miles away, in Terrell.
A witness describes the carjacker as a white or Hispanic man wearing a gray hoodie.
He was carrying a sack was and last seen walking north on highway 34.
A mother and her two kids were picking up dinner at the Chili's restaurant on Highway 80 in Forney. The mom went inside and left the kids in the car while it was running.
Witnesses told police they saw a man take off with the family's car. A couple spotted the kids walking in the cold, on side of the road off Highway 34 in Terrell.
The seven and five-year-old kids were still in their pajamas. The family's car was then found at a Starbucks down the street from where the kids were found.
