Beer found in car after fatal Oak Cliff crash
DALLAS - Dallas police are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in a deadly crash in west Oak Cliff.
It happened just before 9 p.m. on Jefferson Boulevard. A car crossed over a median and hit another car carrying a family of three.
The driver of the first car died at the hospital. The couple in the second car also went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Their 2-year-old child was properly restrained in a car seat and not hurt.
Police found beer in the first car, but have not yet determined if the driver was drinking.
