17-year-old charged with threatening to blow up a judge's home

An inmate in the Williamson County Jail is charged with threatening to blow up a judge's home.

On Monday, District Judge Stacey Mathews sentenced 17-year-old Eduardo Omar Cardenas to 90 days in jail for contempt of court. On Tuesday, Cardenas made a phone call to a woman and ended up talking about his case.

The call was monitored by the William County Sheriff's Office.

According to officials, Cardenas was discussing his 90 day contempt charge when he said, "just wait until I get out. I'm gonna blow that (expletive)'s house up." Officials believe Cardenas was referring to Judge Mathews.

Cardenas has been charged with retaliation for that threat
