5.5 Pounds + 3 oz. Flour
.5 oz Baking Soda
1.5 oz Baking Powder
5 oz. Sugar
1.5 oz Salt
1.5 Pounds Butter
7.5 Cups Buttermilk
In a large mixer combine butter with dry ingredients and mix till butter is soft. And buttermilk. Mix for three minutes.
Remove mixture from bowl and place on the table. Hand knead until dough is smooth texture.
Roll into a large circle that is 1" in height. Using circle cutter, cut out first run. Gently form the remaining dough and cut out one more round of biscuits.
Place on buttered trays and bake at 325 degrees until golden brown.
