BBQ Brisket

Rob Hentschel from Ten 50 BBQ shares some tips for making BBQ brisket for the holidays.


Directions        

Choose a USDA Prime brisket that weighs about 5 to 7 pounds.

Trim any large fat off of brisket.

Season brisket with salt and pepper seasoning in a generous fashion.

Heat smoker to 200 degrees.

Place raw brisket in smoker.

Smoke for 12 to 16 hours with an internal temperature of 180 to 190 degrees.
