DALLAS - Everyone wants to keep those little brains working over the summer and Dallas Public Libraries are the place to be.
Mayor Mike Rawlings said his summer reading program is something he started before he became mayor and hopefully will continue even after he leaves office.
The free, 10-week program challenges kids to read -- everything from hardbacks to paperbacks or electronic books. There are also science, tech, engineering arts and math activities at all 29 Dallas Public Library locations.
Members of the FOX 4 family will be at 16 of those locations Thursday to celebrate the great activities. Join your favorite personalities for a day of fun.
FOX 4 is also making a donation to the Friends of the Dallas Public Library to support the program.
