Hello DFW! After four years and a few stops along the way, I’m blessed to be back in my home state of Texas reporting for FOX 4.
I grew up in Friendswood, Texas, which is a suburb outside of Houston. For my family, the news was on every morning before school and every evening before bed. I specifically remember when my curiosity for this craft began. My family evacuated for Hurricane Rita in 2005, and we sat in a hotel lobby for days. My eyes were glued to the television watching the Reporters stand in intense conditions ready to bring our family constant information.

But to be honest, my path wasn’t smooth in the beginning.
I started my freshman year at The University of Texas at Austin in Honors Biology and walked across the stage my senior year with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. It took one elective class, a long talk with myself, and a leap of faith to learn the desire to be a journalist was still burning inside me.
Now, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
My reporting career began in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 2019, I moved to Oklahoma City where I covered deadly tornadoes, the Johnson & Johnson opioid trial, and Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign rally in Tulsa. My last year in the Sooner State was dedicated to sharing the stories of Oklahomans deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic while pressing politicians for answers.
March 2021, I was honored to learn my dream of joining the FOX 4 team was coming true. You can catch me on FOX 4 News at 9 P.M. and 10 P.M. If I’m not at work, I’m with my rescue pup Maci, cheering on my Longhorns, or enjoying a large plate of Tex-Mex in this beautiful city.
