More shoppers returning clothes after snapping Instagram photos
Instagram has people abusing return policies at stores just to get more likes.
Shoppers are purchasing clothes to return them a day later after they’ve taken a picture for the social media site.
A study found the biggest offenders are men and woman aged 35 to 44 years old.
One fashion expert said she’s even guilty of doing it.
“Now that the fashion blogging and the social influencing world has gotten bigger and bigger and it’s almost a saturated market, if you can’t afford to constantly keep up with that then that’s what you have to do,” Melanie Pace said.
Researchers also found that men are doing it more than women. And stores, especially the high-end ones, are catching on.
