Two COLD Days... Then?!

Baby, it's COLD outside...and in a few days BABY, it's WARM again!

As promised (then again, who could miss this one!) temps have fallen to near freezing with chills in the 20s this morning. Some light mixed precip will fall well SW of FTW (Stephenville, Comanche, Brownwood) but otherwise it's all about the COLD. Clouds will thin out PM hours as temps struggle to get back near 40.

Tonight winds, diminish (but don't DIE) as skies clear. We'll drop to mid 20s Metro, near 20 outlying areas.
Friday starts cold, finishes chilly in the low 40s with light winds and a few clouds. We'll again drop near freezing at night.

Stronger winds develop Saturday from the south BUT will pull in clouds. That will help keep the air feeling "chilly" as highs only near 50. We may get a few light showers at night into early Sunday..BUT...

Sunday starts very mild in the upper 40s and clouds may break up PM allowing us to get well into the 60s! Some western counties may hit 70!

A weaker cold front nudges in Monday and backs off Tuesday, so we'll stay a bit above normal. At this time the next ARCTIC front may slide in by Wednesday...we'll watch
