Surprising Summer Weather!

New Month.... New Weather. NOT your Mother's Texas summer!

More clouds today should hold temps down a bit, even though we'll still make a run at 90 (esp south & east of DFW). A few light showers are possible N & W this morning, with coverage expanding later today as a cold front slowly drops in from the north. Highest rain chances will be N & W of the Metroplex BUT 30% are still expected here as the day progresses.

Tonight into Wed. AM will see the rain and a few storms expanding in coverage (50%) as cooler air pushes in along with a decent disturbance. Showers will taper off Wed. PM, but cloud cover will keep highs in the 80s!
By Thursday, we dry out ahead of the next front, and heat up back into the lower 90s.

That front heads in Friday along with decent lift again, to produce more showers & storms...along with temps back in the 80s!

By the weekend, a stalled front and continued lift from an unusually strong Jet Stream will keep rain chances alive! A few storms Sat PM as we heat up, but better chances are Sunday-Monday...and we may have to increase the coverage as time goes on!
