Summer Takes a Break!

Ready for a WEIRD WEATHER WEEK?

Today is actually nicest of the bunch. Partly sunny. Drier air. NO Heat Index above the temperature...in the low to mid 90s. Somewhat "hot" but nit humid.

The first of two disturbances will head in Tuesday. Lots of clouds. A wind shift to the north...and highs most areas in the 80s (just under 90 MPLEX). As for shower chances...they aren't great tomorrow. Just 20-30% Metro but higher to the north and west. Nothing strong.

Tuesday night-Wed AM the stronger disturbance heads in with better coverage (up to 50%) of showers. Some rumbles but nothing severe. That will exit by Wed. PM, but clouds will keep temps in the 80s.

Thursday looks quiet. We'll keep a low 20% coverage (may remove it as we get closer) and it will be warmer with low 90s returning.

The next system is a stronger COLD FRONT by Friday morning. New showers/storm coverage up to 40% or possibly higher and highs again in the 80s to end the week.

At this point the weekend will also be below average (low 90s). Partly sunny Saturday, but returning moisture may kick up some storms by Sunday.
