No signs of FALL this week! All summer through this weekend...
It's not AS muggy this morning, but humidity still rules with south winds and some clouds. Highs again in the mid 90s although an isolated shower can't be ruled out this afternoon..esp SE counties.
Temps will stay in the mid 90s as south winds continue through Thursday and Heat Indices will be just under 100. The one difference this week is that there is enough lift in the atmosphere that a storm or two could develop Tuesday afternoon (esp west) and again Wednesday and Thursday. Most of us won't get rain BUT at least someone will have a shot.
By Friday as FALL starts, a ridge of high pressure starts to develop again which will shut down any rain chances into the weekend. SE winds will keep us quite humid and very warm (low 90s).
The next cold front has a chance to get here early next week (Tuesday) but that's still outside the 7-day window.
