Ready...Set...RAIN! Some severe storms too....
Today's shower/storm activity will move in fairly early in the day from the SW and south during the later morning hours and last into the afternoon before heading east and diminishing. MAIN threat is heavy rain and lightning (low wind, hail risk) Late today and into the evening could be quiet.
Next main piece if energy is much stronger and will move in overnight into Fri AM from the west. Strong to severe storms are possible with a flood threat. Even though they are late at night, some could still produce severe weather.
Those should rapidly end AM and we may even get some heating tomorrow PM. That could also trigger some evening storms along the dry line which also could be strong to severe, but lower coverage.
We get to the weekend with some SUN in the forecast! Highs upper 80s and humid each day with just a low chance for a PM storm.
By Memorial Day, a much strongest disturbance heads in and we could have more storms...and possibly AM hours.
And next week could have more storms as well! Wow!
