Like a broken record...more storms will POP through Friday.
Similar to past few days, a little heating will go a long way to generate scattered storms with disturbances nearby.
But also similar to past few days, not everyone will see them. Up to 40% today and 30% tomorrow...but that's still less than half of our 36 county coverage area each day. Some storms may also contain gusty winds (up to 50 mph) before diminishing near sunset. Otherwise highs again close to normal in the mid to upper 90s and MUGGY too.
By Friday, coverage of storms will come down as high pressure starts to nose in from the west, however storms that day are mor likely in northern areas closer to Oklahoma.
This weekend, looks to end the month just hot and humid. Highs upper 90s to 100 with a heat index close to 105. As high pressure builds in next week, looks like your typical August forecast...near 100 and rain free.
