Another active weather day! Storm chances will pick up this afternoon/evening...beginning west of the metroplex and becoming more widespread as they head east. Coverage will likely continue overnight, at least for a couple of hours. All modes of severe weather will be possible today, but the tornado threat is fairly low.

Storm chances continue this week
FOX 4 Weather meteorologist say we'll have a quieter day today with some afternoon storms mainly northeast of DFW. But, the storm chances will increase with overnight disturbances. These storms, much like the last few days, will pack the chance for strong winds. Father's Day storms cause damage, power outages across North Texas
The National Weather Service will be surveying damage from Sunday’s storms.
In the Fort Worth suburb of white settlement, the powerful wind knocked down a street sign and a fence. It caused Elizabeth Hampton’s chimney to come crashing down.
