Heat...and Repeat!

This forecast is pretty straightforward going into the weekend and even early next week, with only subtle differences day by day.

Today will definitely be hotter than the previous days. mid to upper 90s. Heat index close to 105 (Metro) by afternoon. We will have some clouds that form...even one or two with an isolated shower for eastern areas.

HIGH pressure will cruise across Oklahoma tomorrow with mostly sunny skies here...and upper 90s (heat Index near or above 105).

As the high moves east of us Friday and into the weekend, it will weaken a bit a give us more of a SE flow aloft.

With extra moisture (some clouds) can't rule out a stray shower each weekend day...but temps near 100 will yield a Heat Index at or above 105 each day ...with Heat Advisories likely into early next week.

At this time, not much change is indicated early next week, as the high moves back into Texas.
